It is rare moments like this when you realize what it is like to be in a product group at Microsoft. Having worked in the Xbox and Wndows/DirectX groups where you have a "platform" persective and work amongst several thousands of others is great in some ways, but nothing beats being part of a tight team of passionate people that all have the same goals in mind! Microsoft Simulatotion Studio (aka ACEs) is a gleeming example of that product group mentality.

The excitement of Rick, Kevin, Southmayd and myself putting together the site last evening to make this announcement, you could cut the energy buzzing around the office with a knife!

Keep looking at the site and blogs for juicy tidbits as they become available to discuss.

It has been a while since the clickity-clack and whistle of trains in the halls of the Microsoft Simulations group.....till now! A team has "secretly" been working on another version of Trian Simulator.....and our PR/Marketing folks are letting us tell the world.

The goal of the TrianSim team is to solicite feedback as to features and functionality that our customers would like to see. Granted we are not going to be able to "grant every wish"......but we do want to get feedback and listen to our audience....so as best we can we can play to them!

Stay tuned to the www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim site for more information in the future.

You might even get a nugget or 2 from my blog.
